Synopsis
In the 20 years since Michael Moore burst upon the film world with his debut documentary, Roger and Me, the economic climate has decidedly chilled. Now taking aim at the total system rather than just General Motors, he is still analyzing, provoking and commenting on the world’s current crisis.
As always, his greatest weapons are his satiric sensibilities and wickedly pointed sense of humor as he now turns his camera on the root causes of the global economic meltdown and the accompanying corporate and political shenanigans that have caused in his words, “the biggest robbery in the history of the United States.”
Moore has never focused on academic queries but he is at best when calling a spade a spade and fearlessly pointing fingers. Capitalism: A Love Story is ironic and richly engaging and will certainly further fuel the populist outcry to the world’s dilemma.

خلال فترة العشرين سنة التي ظهر خلالها مايكل مور في عالم السينما بدءا بفيلمه الوثائقي "روجر وأنا" (Roger and Me), أصبح المناخ الاقتصادي بدون شك أكثر فتورا. ويقوم مايكل مور في هذا الفيلم بالتركيز على النظام بأسره عوضا عن الاقتصار على شركة جنرال موتورز ولا يزال يحلل ويستفز وينتقد الأزمة الحالية التي يشهدها العالم. وكما عهدناه, يستخدم مور أسلحته القوية المتمثلة بحساسياته الساخرة وحسه الفكاهي الانتقادي فيما يسلط كاميرته نحو جذور وأسباب الأزمة العالمية الاقتصادية وما صاحبها من أعمال فوضوية طالت الشركات كما الساحة السياسية وسببت حرفيا "أكبر عملية سرقة في تاريخ الولايات المتحدة".
لم يركز مور يوما على المسائل الأكاديمية ولكنه يكون في أحسن حالاته حين ينادي الأمور بأسمائها الفعلية ويوجه أصابع اللوم بدون أي خوف أو رهبة. فيلم "الرأسمالية: قصة حب" فيلم ساخر وجذاب للغاية ولا شك أنه سيولد المزيد من أصوات الاحتجاجات الشعبية حيال المعضلة التي يعيشها العالم.
